I have kept my mouth shut about this whole immigration mess...yes I said mess...and lets just leave it at that. I do have a problem when it comes to
the improper use of the American flag. It happened at a business on Wells...the business owner claims he had no idea it was wrong....PLEASE! Don't go to work, boycott if you wish, have a parade down Virginia Street and snarl traffic if you wish. This is America and you can do whatever you feel the need to do w/out hurting others and/or breaking the law. Flying another countries flag over the American flag does both. This has nothing to do with it being a Mexican flag...if you live/work in this country...this country is #1 and at the top of the pole. In many countries you can only fly that nations flag. A very upset Veteran removed both flags from the pole with one flag ....the American under his arm and the other was left on the ground. Again the business owner claims he didn't know this was wrong...I just think with everything that has happened in this past week....it's a little hard to believe this one. Talk to you in the morning.

fyi - i heard on channel four news this morning that it is not illegal to fly another countries flag above the american flag but it is a definite slap in the face to all americans. i personally feel that if someone with another heritage or culture decides to fly their countries flag over the american flag (where they are now residing and making a living) they should go back to their country.
